The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.
We are looking to recruit a number of staff, on a fixed term basis, to meet the current needs of the business and achieve service level agreements. The Scanning Team Member role is based with in NHSBSA Prescription Services in the North West Processing Centre and is required until the end of March 2020.
You will be required to work your contractual hours Monday to Thursday 12pm to 8pm and Friday 10am to 6pm.
You will be responsible for the initial preparation and scanning of prescription forms and other documents, following set written procedures. You will be operating scanning machines, monitoring their performance and taking corrective actions when required. You will be required to work accurately to the required output and accuracy levels whilst dealing with sensitive and confidential data. You will be required to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal, organisational, self-motivation and communication skills. You must be able to maintain performance levels with good attention to detail whilst completing a constant repetitive task. Flexibility in the role is required. You must be able to prioritise your own workload, using your own initiative, whether working independently as well as within a team.
Full training will be provided for this role, although experience of following instructions and procedures would be helpful.
