The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.
The NHSBSA is currently recruiting across England and Wales for 1 new home based Clinical Policy Adviser
Working as members of our Clinical Services Team, you will have extensive postgraduate clinical experience, including experience in NHS primary dental services, and will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of current legislation, regulations, standards and guidance applicable to NHS dental practice.
You will have well developed analytical skills and will work closely with Primary Care Organisations to support monitoring of NHS primary dental services contracts and to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical monitoring and risk management activities.
You will advise NHS Dental Services and other bodies on the quality and appropriateness of patient care by reviewing clinical records, examining patients, providing second opinions and assessing practices and premises. You may be asked to give evidence at hearings and in Courts of Law.
To apply for this post you will need full General Dental Council registration, a full driving licence and be willing to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check. Please note that this position is home based, however this role will require travel within England and Wales, including overnight stays, together with regular travel to our Eastbourne office.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
