Here at the NHSBSA we are looking to strengthen our End User Services team within the Technology function. Just over a year ago we restructured and brought some service-related areas in house within the Technology teams. We now need an additional End User Compute Support Analyst who will support our staff and will be at our central core to providing excellent service to the wider business teams.

You will be working within a business which strives to become increasingly lean and agile with its delivery of services. Working within the Technology function has been particularly rewarding and satisfying over the past few months, enabling the NHSBSA to work in new and flexible ways during the COVID-19 pandemic and we see these ways of working continuing on into the future.

A positive customer service attitude and focus is important to this role  where the post holder will be expected to provide IT advice and guidance, 2nd line IT support and assist with the installation of end user compute devices across multiple sites of the NHSBSA amongst other duties. There is a varied range of equipment that will need to be supported by the post holder including desktops and laptops running Windows 10, audio visual equipment, IP telephony, mobile phones and a range of other IT peripherals. You should have previous experience of working in a 1st line support role, ideally within a multi-user Active Directory environment. Any additional support experience or  practical knowledge of IT technologies and tools such as SCCM, Intune and Azure would be a bonus. Experience of working with both PC and Mac platforms and remote support tools would also be a distinct advantage
