The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Technical Consultant to join the Technical Consultancy Team. The role is being offered as a Band 5 with progression to Band 6.

The work involves the provision of guidance and in-depth expertise in all technical aspects of the NHS Pension Scheme, together with all relevant overarching UK pension legislation relevant to public sector pension scheme administration.

You will be required to work closely with all areas of NHS Pensions to deliver high quality customer service and communicate effectively on complex technical pension issues.

You will have excellent drafting skills and experience of dispute resolution, together with working in a heavily legislated environment.
