An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Workflow Management Team in NHS Pensions for a Forecasting Planning and Workflow Manager.

Under the direction and guidance of the Business Support Operations Manager, you will lead multiple work streams, ensuring that a consistent, accurate and efficient approach is applied to the strategising and allocation of work. Through both forecasting and planning, you will ensure that your work streams are adequatly resourced to meet demand. In doing so, you will play an important part in enabling a high standard of service to be delivered across the organisation.

Engaging with stakeholders, you will prioritise requirements and optimise resource utilisation, demonstrating a creative and innovative approach, so that solutions are delivered to meet organisational objectives.

The post holder will require a multi-disciplined skill set that allows them to:

  • Encourage the effective use of the Work Manager tool across all suitable levels within the operation.
  • Effectively manage workflow and resource planning to achieve internal/external KPI’s.
  • Support, develop and instruct Real Time Analysts ensuring an efficient and effective delivery of service.
  • Analyse and interrogate data to deliver resource projections.
  • Manage and proritise workload to meet business requirements.
  • Develop close working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
