Are you a team player, who believes in the essential role NHS General Ophthalmic Services contractors play in delivering quality primary ophthalmic care?

If so, we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Advisors to join our exciting new Provider Assurance Ophthalmic Services team.

Our Provider Assurance services, working on behalf of NHS England, collaborate with clinicians, health-care teams, commissioners and contract managers to assure quality outcomes and value for money across primary care and beyond.

Our Senior Clinical Advisor supports our Clinical and Casework teams to evaluate contractual and claiming data providing feedback, education and advice to Ophthalmic Contract Providers. This enables the self-assessment and management of quality and value for money in NHS primary eye care.

In addition the post holder will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape national primary eye care policy.

 We are offering:

You will be responsible for delivering excellent service to a complex and diverse range of customers, clients and stakeholders so the ability to adapt, negotiate, influence and lead is essential.

This is a predominantly home-based post with a requirement for regular  travel throughout England, including overnight travel to our Newcastle and Eastbourne offices.

A current GOC registration and significant proven post-registration NHS primary care experience is essential for this role.
