The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.

A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Officer to work in the Accounts Receivable Team within the Finance Department of the NHS Business Services Authority.

The role will involve a broad range of duties including the processing of invoices to customers, collection of monies due, query resolution and the updating maintenance of the sales ledger records and other non-financial systems within managed deadlines.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard in a minimum of 4 subjects including English and Maths, or have equivalent experience, and be able to work to strict guidelines. Finance experience and working to deadlines are essential as is knowledge of IT applications particularly Microsoft Packages.

To succeed in this role you must be numerate, have analytical skills and be organised and motivated. We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and work under pressure.
