The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.
The role of an Information Services Team Member is to provide accurate and timely delivery of information services to meet client and customer expectations through the provision of formatted data sets and reports.
Working as part of a team, you will work to identify, analyse and resolve issues relating to the delivery of information services to a range of internal and external customers.
The successful candidate must have experience of data collection, validation and analysis with experience in personally resolving complex queries, along with excellent practical experience of using Excel spreadsheets to analyse information. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to prioritise their own workload and work independently.
The successful candidate must have a confident telephone manner as first line support is required to investigate a variety of queries which can often be complex and contentious with regard to information and systems provided by Information Services.
The successful candidate will be able to pro actively identify and implement efficient and effective methods of working. They must be able to use information to generate accurate and consistent in-depth relevant reports that meet a range of customer requirements.
You will have a minimum of five GCSE passes grade C or above, including Maths and English or have an equivalent qualification or work based experience.
