The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.

We provide a range of critical central services to NHS organisations, NHS contractors, patients and the public.

This is an opportunity to work within the Patient Services area of the NHSBSA as a Low Income Scheme (LIS) assessor.

As a LIS assessor your predominant role will be to carry out the assessments that determine if applicants are eligible for help with health costs based on their financial circumstances. You will be conscientious, accurate, focused and self-driven. You will be continuously improving and developing with the business. You will be flexible and open to change and innovation. You will have excellent customer service skills, demonstrating them at all times showing empathy and integrity. You will put the customer and business needs at the forefront of what you do, providing the best service possible.

The post-holder will be able to work to output targets and maintain a high level of accuracy while providing excellent customer service. 
Successful applicants must have achieved GCSE Grade C passes (or equivalent) in a minimum of 3 subjects including English and Maths or demonstrate equivalent work experience.

Assessment / interviews will take place on weeks commencing 12th and 19th March.
