The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team within the Strategy, Business Development and Growth Directorate at the NHS Business Services Authority based at our Head Office in Newburn. The Strategy, Business Development and Growth Directorate will play a key role in delivering our ambitions through the design, development and co-ordination of NHSBSA wide activities and the successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end delivery of allocated projects.
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is a Special Health Authority and an Arms Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). We provide a range of critical central services to NHS organisations, NHS contractors, patients and the public.
Our purpose is to be a catalyst for better health which is reinforced and is aligned to our priorities of supporting the national agenda of workforce, technology, prevention and data, as well as delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan. We have a vision of being the delivery partner of choice for the NHS. We are transforming our services through digitisation, taking advantage of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
We have a wide portfolio of services and as the landscape of the health and social care system changes, we are looking for an individual who can lead and control virtual delivery teams whilst adopting the necessary and appropriate project management controls and methodologies to ensure that projects progress towards the delivery of the expected outputs and outcomes.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is degree level qualified, has significant project delivery experience and is a Prince 2 and/or Agile Practitioner. You must be able to demonstrate our Values and our Core Competencies.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 4 July 2019.
