The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.
The NHS BSA Technology Solutions team designs, develops, tests, supports and operates applications to sustain a range of vital administrative services for NHS organisations, contractors, patients and the public. Business critical back-office and internet deployed digital applications are provided to support NHS BSA business streams. These systems are used by 2,000 internal users and externally are available to the general public.
The NHS BSA’s Application infrastructure currently utilises an Oracle and Java based strategy for the majority of the operational platforms.
In line with the Government Digital Strategy and the NHS Business Services Authority’s business strategy, a major programme of digitisation is underway which puts the user at the heart of everything we deliver.

The job holder will support the successful delivery of the user experience through the design of customer journeys, wire framing, user research, and data visualisation.
The successful applicant will have a passion for design excellence and a proven track record of success. Working within a multi-disciplined team you will design and prototype user journeys, interfaces and interactions.
