The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is the main processing facility and centre of excellence for payment, reimbursement, remuneration and reconciliation for NHS Dental Practitioners, Pharmacists, NHS Pensions and other affiliated parties.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Business Services Authority Warehouse for a Warehouse Operator on a full time basis. The working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays. The site is currently open from 07:00 – 16:30. The Warehouse Operator will be involved with confidential document storage.

Benton Warehouse is responsible for the secure storage, retrieval and destruction of prescription batches, NHSBSA departmental and client records. The Warehouse Operators work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the site functions efficiently, safely and that service level agreements are met.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Basic literacy and pc skills
  • Full driving licence with at least 6 months driving experience (covered to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonne an advantage)
  • Forklift experience (reach and articulated forklifts) is an advantage.
  • Between 6 to 12 months experience of working in a warehouse environment. 
  • It is essential that you have manual handling skills.

You will be a reliable and flexible team worker with the ability to work using your own initiative. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the accuracy of records management and full traceability of confidential material.
