Service Portfolio Lead

Full Time, Secondment until 31st March 2021 (expected to be made permanent from April 2021)

Base: Preferably Newcastle, but other NHSBSA locations will be considered 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Provider Assurance for a Service Portfolio Lead who will have responsibility for leading and overseeing the business development and growth of the Provider Assurance Service. Working with the Head of Service and wider colleagues ensuring that appropriate improvement and growth opportunities are identified and realised.

The role will build effective and professional relationships with external stakeholders and partners across the wider system to ensure our strategies are aligned and to collaboratively design and implement Provider Assurance Services that drive improvements for commissioners, providers and patients while achieving efficiencies and value for money.

We are looking for an individual with a good understanding of the wider health and care system and environment and significant experience of working at senior level in business development and growth. Having a good understanding of the key drivers of business development and growth, financial performance and ROI are essential to the role.

With a proven record of effectively leading service improvement initiatives and teams across organisations the individual will have the ability to formulate and execute business proposals through to effective delivery.
